IT AIN’T WHO YOU THOUGHT IT WAS!
Born in 1961 in a trailer in Tuscaloosa, this was one kid who knew how to switch identities as easily as shooting fish in a fishbowl. His shapeshifting ability would prove central to the incredible globetrotting career that would follow.
Tired of the beatings, he ran away from home at age 5. He took to the streets of D.C. and hung out at the grade school of hard knocks. Known as Smiley, he became proficient in 7 languages, lock-picking and petty larceny.
Then, as Hank, he worked as a dairy farmhand in the mid-Appalachians. He managed a pot operation hidden in some woods nearby. His Mexican connections soon got solicited by the Taliban to do political assassinations in D.C., but Hank tricked the Afghans instead so he could infiltrate their French network. As Pot d’Thé, he was soon dealing bricks of hash for European distributors on the outskirts of Paris. There he rubbed elbows with models, race car drivers, rock stars and junkie nuns.
But as 20 year old Little Big Head, he gave up on selling chemicals. He cleaned up at rehab and soon demonstrated a surprising head for numbers. He made millions running a major gambling racket for the Italians up in Rhode Island, although the constant mental effort wore him down… As Road Drill, he would have occasion to get out of his head and use certain persuasion skills which he picked up while with the Mob. In fact, he gained some notoriety as a NYC Hell’s Angels ‘collector’ with a penchant for using powertools on the non-compliant.
As 60/40, he decided he was through with collections, meth lab madness and macho bullshit. It was time to go straight and get legit. So he grew his hair out and went undercover as a drag queen in the San Francisco redlight district. There he worked for the Man. He unearthed the kind of ugly secrets that dirty cops could use for blackmail or auction off to the highest bidder.
He grew more idealistic as the 90s kicked in, apart from the heroin trafficking. As Shiva Lovetotal, he joined the tribe of Burning Man aficionados who ran around the country practicing arson on McMansions for political reasons. Although feeling satisfyingly anarchic, he was now honing in on the biggest target of his lifetime. As Shiva Las Vegas, he found himself utterly pissed off at the crappy hip hop being released in 1997. So he gunned down the heads of the two main rival hip hop gangs, one east coast, one west coast. He made a clean getaway both times and was never even suspected, never mind prosecuted.
In 2000 he became 2 Flush, and his rap career finally blew up. He made it rain from Tokyo to Havana with his big singles, “Flush This” and “Flush Again (Sh*t’s Going Down)”. But then as Colonel Christopher Crackoff he retreated to live in Moskow after revealing that he had been a flatulent Russian double agent ever since the fall of the Berlin Wall and he needed to chill out for a while. In Russia he released “Bounce International”, a CD about fellow agent and femme fatale, Kryptika. Since his second stint at rehab he’s stayed clean and sober.
Now MC Radiance travels through multiple cosmic dimensions and wormholes. He is an intergalactic tourguide for hedonists who want to take their debauchery to the next level. Also, he doesn’t do hits anymore: Mafia, acid or Billboard Top 20.
